The Japanese are about to get a new treat to go crazy over again, with another Monster Hunter set to take them by storm. Following the success of all the other Monster Hunter titles before it, Monster Hunter 3 finally gets dated for release in the region, with bundles to boot.

Monster Hunter 3 will hit Japanese stores on August 1st, and according to Famitsu, it'll also come in a Classic Controller Pro Pack, which bundles the game with the updated Nintendo Classic controller, priced at JPÂ¥ 8,490, or about US$ 90. There's also gonna be a Collector's Edition available through e-Capcom, which will come with a making-of DVD and other unspecified Monster Hunter goodies. That one's gonna at JPÂ¥ 9,440, or US$ 100.

The concrete release date is only set for Japan, and there's no word on how long localization will take for the North American Monster Hunter 3 release. Hopefully not as long as White Knight Chronicles.

» ooh...

can't wait for the release. hopefully the US version will be release soon also. otherwise, i'm pretty sure some MH fans would translate it just like MHP2G. will just wait and see. i'm guessing the western release dates would depend on how popular the MHFU would be. else, i think they would cancel that supposedly announcement that MHG and MHTri would be released on the west.
