how is it they will be as bold to say that they outsold the wii in japan, but say that they will not release any figures in the states until the 13th because they dont want to recognize that the 360 outsold them

This is Enterbrain, not Sony.(Not sure if that's a Sony branch or anything) Sony said themselves it's against their policy to release sell numbers, don't think they said anything about other sources releasing numbers.

I dont think sale numbers show which console is the best. The Wii is in the lead in the US yet its not the best (its just cheap.)

Sales I think just show how people will buy somthing thats cheap and new (not for all people but some).

This is an American Website, why should we care about Japanese sales? I'm more interested in American sales. Two very different cultures imo.

The wii saturated japans market until everyone that wants a wii has one. I mean wasn't this to be expected? The wii can possibly stay on top of the market eternally it's bound to finely hit that point when everyone has one. and something else will have to sell a little. we know that wont be the 360. japan dislikes the 360 because its an american console. However I do find it offensive that japan would back the ps3 over the 360 considering it has more to offer then the ps3. no that's not a fan boy statement. check into what both consoles have to offer and if you can say the ps3 offers more then the 360. then who's really the fan boy here? better online services. more triple a titles. the 360 has the ps3 in just about every aspect but raw power. that's why I find it offensive that the 360 is performing so poorly in japan. they would rather back the losing console then back an american product. Its really kind of offensive :(

A hand full of okay titles. it takes too long to develop for. games are being delayed because its so hard to program for. this isnt some fan boy point here. im stating cold hard cruel fact. If the ps3 had a game worth playing. I would have a damned ps3. its as simple as that, yeah some good games on the horizon. But when?! I dont want to wait till im an old mad to play something good. You think unlike 90 % of the rest of the world I didnt own a ps2? Of course I did. And i loved it. But sony droped the ball this gen. and they are suffering because of it. Defend the ps3 as much as you want. call people idots morons. and tirade around thrash your arms and cry a little louder. all of this wont help the fat that awaits the ps3. its the sega saturn of this generation. Its a slow painful death the ps3 is experiencing. and that simply wont change. in the end the ps3 will have a few hits. but not enough to keep the system alive. Even if sevral great games hit the ps3 and it did well for a while. you are still looking at year long dry spells because the damned thing is so hard to develop for. my xbox live gamer tag is dylantalon and my psn id is dylantalon. i can tell you people that i'm on my 5th xbox 360 and i know its going to break again. i dont play my wii much but its reliable, and the ps3 i know wont fail.



only game i like on 360 is gears of war and everything else is ok. bias fanboys die a little inside knowing the prettiest game graphics on a console is uncharted drakes fortune, fact , play the game and you'd know. i like the 360 as a console but is it the best, no.



xbox 360 has laggy online service,you have to pay for online service, uses dvd 9 which holds 8gbs of data, 2008 line up looks weak, 33% failure rate ,has hdmi 1.2 and uses 5.1 dolby .



ps3 has lag free online service which is for free,uses blu ray technolgy, there are blu ray discs available that can hold 100 gbs of data,uses hdmi 1.3 which has true hd not upscaled like 360, supports 7.1 dolby surround,and has the strongest line up in 2008.



ff13,ff versus 13, mgs4 , killzone 2, white knight story, eight days, la noire, the get away 3, gt 5, resistance fall of man 2, god of war 3, tekken 6, and a lot of others. now you may be upset about me saying ps3 has the strongest line up in 2008 but ff13 alone will sell more than a million copies in one day and also get alot of consoles sold. mgs 4 will sell alot and sell consoles . killzone 2 is the best game ive seen ever and its exclusive to ps3.



i have all console but favors the one with more technology and reliability which is the ps3 . i like gears of war and i still play it, if the 360 gets a game thats revolutionary , then i'll get that game. i thought i would like mass effect but too chatty for me, thats my opinion,lol.

Well until then i'll keep enjoying great games and if it does happen i'll be the first to switch. I for one am tired of all the weight given to Japan when it comes to gaming. They had their day last 2 gens and now it's the US who is the gaming powerhouse but it seems we are having a hard time moving on.
