Jack Thompson Takes His Case to U.S. Supreme Court - Image 1It's the last day of the weekend, how depressing. Let's talk about something entertaining to pick up the mood. Here's some news on Jack Thompson.

Thompson, who was recently disbarred, has taken his appeal to the United States Supreme Court. He asked for a deadline for the filing of his petition for writs of certiorari. That's legalese for "give me a chance."

The Supreme Court granted his extension, and he now has until February 18 to file his petition. What are his chances for the SC to hear his case? Well, according to their website, the SC is presented with 10,000 cases a year. Only 100 of these are granted a hearing.

» bloody hell

No man has ever fought so hard to unethically practice law as this prick. That being said, even if by some (anti)miracle the SC hears his case, it was a open and close case in the first place. He has this strange illusion that he is always right and if he whines enough he'll come through looking like something other than a "Jack"ass.

» Haha!

Good luck with this Jack!!

Why does he want to get reinstated, so he can legally send threats to the mothers of video game makers instead of as just a regular nutcase??

Anyone who has followed the soap opera of this self-righteous clown will know he is clearly an insane egocentric opportunist and doesn't have the slightest chance in h*ll of being taken seriously in the legal system again, as a lawyer nor as a defendant.

But you're right, it was entertaining to read. Can't wait for "Chapter 2: 'Supreme'ly DENIED!" Thanks!
