It seems that the new Take-Two Interactive Chairman Strauss Zelnick held a secret meeting with Jack Thompson in New York recently. What is even more surprising is the fact that it has been confirmed by GamePolitics that this meeting was arranged by Zelnick himself.Now most gamers already know about the settlement that was reached by both parties when Zelnick took the helm of Take-Two, so what reason could they have for meeting? Some have speculated that Zelnick just wanted to formally meet the self-proclaimed "Take TwoÂ’s most abiding critic." Others think the two are discussing a possible future venture where Mr. Thompson and Take-Two will be working together towards a common goal.
One thing that people have not mentioned is the fact that their talk might not even have anything to do with video games. Of course, these are all just unconfirmed speculations by various people online. Hopefully, Take-Two or Mr. Thompson will shed light on this to silence the whispers from the online community. Huh...well this certainly makes his little speech about not doing private meetings/interviews after canceling the Penny Arcade discussion a little bit...ironic.
Sounds now like Thompson was just scared of doing the PA thing, and doesn't mind at all doing closed off, secret things with game people.

Maybe they talked to him and said if he don't like their games then to give them ideas for a friendly one that they could make. That would be interesting to see the results of that. I probably would be some sort of lame Bible Adventures game or something, that old douche bag.
Jack Thompson is a shill! He's nothing but a marketing ploy for the video game industry. The secret meeting was to figure out new ways of bringing attention to the gaming community. Hopefully, Jackie's next tactic will be to sit on a blanket outside Take Two's headquarters and set himself on fire like the buddhist monk did. I'd pay to watch that.
