Iwata reveals Nintendo's line-up for Japan |

The video game line-up for 2007 was announced by none other than the president of Nintendo, Mr. Satoru Iwata, himself. In a press conference, he gave the skinny on the games as well as discussing Nintendo's finances. Aside from his two key points in his talk, he gave word that Nintendo has 79 DS titles and 45 Wii titles currently in development. That's a lot of games, and it seems that Iwata intends on capitalizing on the fact that the company's products have been selling very well. Anyway, we're not going to keep you waiting, here are the games slated for the Wii in Japan this year:
- Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (DK Jet or DK Bongo Blast, US) - June 28, 2007
- Wii Health Pack -- 2007
- Disaster: Day of Crisis - 2007
- Mario Party 8 - 2007
- Project H.A.M.M.E.R. - 2007
- Wii Music - 2007
- Super Mario Galaxy - 2007
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 2007
- Battalion Wars II - 2007
- Forever Blue - 2007
- Mario Strikers Charged - 2007
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 2007
- Mario and Sonic at the Olympics - 2007
The line-up is has some pretty big name games, which should provide a financial boost for Nintendo. This is good news for the company since one of the recent complaints that have been surfacing is the fact that there are so few great games to sustain the public's interest on the system. Well, once the games on the list are released, perhaps Nintendo can put an end to that argument.
