Back in the 70s humans were able to repel the Space Invaders, but now they're back, and they're not happy. They are definitely much cuter though, and more colorful too. Get to control the alien horde in Space Invaders Get Even.
The game was first announced back in March. It was assumed to be a typical Wii game, but is now pegged as a new WiiWare download. Japan gamers will get to Get Even this summer, but no release date for the rest of the Wii populace has been confirmed yet.
In Space Invaders Get Even, you'll be controlling a 2D army composed of 100 invaders, and you shall lead them into victory against a 3D human world. I guess they're sore at humans for having spatial width.
The nunchuk will be used to move around your UFO, while the Wiimote is used for pointing and mounting destruction upon the land. You have to clear the boss before time runs out to get to the next stage.
