For those who have been waiting for the Nintendo Wii version of Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree to arrive in Europe, the wait is almost over. A recent press release has confirmed that it will be arriving on your shores on July 20 and can be purchased for about GBP 35 (US$ 69).

This game is a follow up of Big Brain Academy for the Nintendo DS. This latest iteration of the game offers new mini-games and multiplayer modes for fans of the game to enjoy.

The are five categories of mini-games: Visualise, Memorise, Analyse, Compute and Identify. Each one is played with the Wii remote as a pointer and tests the mental capacity of the person playing.

If you're a competitive egg-head and want to show off your mad brain skills, you have the option to transmit and download other players' student record books using WiiConnect24. If you'd prefer a more local setting, there are three multiplayer modes you can engage in: Mind Sprint, Mental Marathon, and Brain Quiz.

So start practicing your mind through other "brain-training" games if you plan on getting this one or you might get owned by some eight year old genius posting crazy scores online. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates on Big Brain Academy for the Wii.
