Mega Man classic - Image 1Rumors and speculations can't be stopped, but Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune himself made it clear that Capcom's Blue Bomber is not in the Nintendo Wii title Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Or at least, Inafune is still waiting for Ninty to drop a call and request permission to include his company's mascot in the video game's roster.

"I really do love Super Smash Bros. It's a great seriesÂ…but, Nintendo hasn't asked me yet if they can use Mega Man in their game," Inafune stated during a podcast when asked by a fan if Mega Man is going to Brawl.

Even with that in mind, there's still a chance for the super fighting robot to join the all-star cast of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Inafune hasn't closed doors yet, saying "I'm still waitingÂ…we have a little bit of time left, it's not coming out for another few months." He continued, "They might get around to asking us if we'd like to put Mega Man in Super Smash Bros."

Nintendo surprised everyone by adding former rival Sega's mascot Sonic to Super Smash Bros. Brawl's line-up. Solid Snake from Konami Digital is also another third party Brawl contestant; if Mega Man's going to be in, just imagine Master Chief making the cut. The game's February 2008 release is a few sleeps away, and our fingers are crossed.

"Nintendo surprised everyone by adding..."

What planet have you been living on ? Everyone rumored Sonic ever since Smash Melee and everyone pretty much expected him to be in Brawl. Not a big surprise.

And I'm totally in for megaman getting included in Brawl, although I would like them to NOT add the original Megaman.

Maybe Rock Trigger, X, Bass or Zero.

They would be welcome additions in my book ^^
