Hudson's WiiWare title Star Soldier R coming to North America, nine screens |
If you like space shooter games, then Hudson Entertainment's upcoming WiiWare title Star Soldier R is something that you could probably consider. This vertical-scrolling game has just been confirmed for North American release in the future.
As you guys blast enemies away to space dust, you have the opportunity to grab special power-ups so that you can improve your weapons and armor. An all-new Force Systems will let players gather five orbiting satellites that can be used for defensive cover or additional firewpower.
As for the game itself, it has various modes players can enjoy: 2-Minute, 5-Minute, and Quick Shot Mode. In the 2-Minute mode, you guys will go through one stage and battle a boss at the end. The 5-Minute mode is just like the previous one, except that it has one more stage. In Quick Shot Mode, players will have to see if they have the fastest trigger fingers.
All scores that players will achieve will be posted on the online leaderboards. With this, players have the chance of shooting their way to the top. So far, a date hasn't been officially set for this title. Until then, do enjoy the screenshots we have for you.
