Do you guys like to play Mahjongg? For those of you not familiar with this game, it's actually a traditional Chinese tile-matching game that requires skill, strategy and calculation. If you do know what it is and enjoy playing it, then you might as well check this Wii homebrew out.
JustWoody developed this homebrew game, MahJongg Wii v0.1, specifically for the Wii, with devkitpro and GRRLib for rendering. The goal is simple, although the strategy not so. You basically just have to clear the board by removing all tiles in pairs. Pairs consist of tiles which are a) free and b) identical (or of the same type).
Anyway, this release is still in beta, but that shouldn't keep you from trying your hand out at this game. It's totally playable now. Also, expect more releases in the future as JustWoody still has got some more work to do as you may see from the list of to-do:
- No Sound
- No menus
- No SFX
- No high score table
