High Voltage Software finds publisher for The Conduit |
Ó
After a lengthy search, High Voltage Software has announced they have finally found a publisher for The Conduit. They declined to say who it'd be just yet but promised to reveal the news very soon. The rumor mill's already buzzing with a name, though: SEGA.Yes, rumor has it that SEGA, who's currently in the 2008 top 10 publishers for the Wii (according to Game Developer's Magazine), has taken the promising Wii shooter under its wing. Speculation on this started when SEGA recently posted "The Conduit" folders on their public FTP site.
The Conduit, in case you have yet to hear about it yet, is a sci-fi shooter set in Washington DC. Players take control of Agent Ford, a Secret Service agent stuck in the middle of an alien invasion. The game will have a star studded voice over cast with Battle Star Galactica's Mark Sheppard lending his considerable talent to Agent Ford.

Never expected it to be Sega, i was banking on EA or Nintendo. Lets hope they dont interfere with it too mich.
I also thought it would be EA. I think Sega would be better to do it though.
Thank goodness, though. I've been waiting for the conduit forever.
