Shigeru Miyamoto loves Star FoxBayonetta creator Hideki Kamiya feels the same way. In fact, he's even willing to make one, but only if Nintendo forces him to.

Kamiya, who also has the critically-acclaimed Okami under his belt, recently Tweeted that all it would take to convince him to do a Star Fox game is if Nintendo literally asks him to make one at gunpoint.

"I want Nintendo's staff to come to Platinum, stick guns at us and tell us 'You guys make a new Star Fox.," his Twitter post said.

If that doesn't happen, Kamiya still has a back-up suggestion for Nintendo: just let the guys who made Star Fox 64 develop a new one. Apparently, Star Fox 64 is tops in Kamiya's book, mostly because of its scenario and the heated battles.

If you know that graphics aren't everything, then you shouldn't care about a one generation difference. The fact that there are some 16-bit era games that are better than modern ones renders your point moot. In fact, focusing on graphics can often lead to poor production in other areas. See- God of War 3, a game who's development fell prey to new engine tech and ultimately produced a piss-poor ending, if you can even call it that with all the cliff-hangers they threw in at the last minute.

Shut up please?
Obviously you haven't a clue, Wii's capable of VERY good graphics, Star Fox is Nintendo property and would never be on a non-Nintendo platform.

Use your head mate?

Guys, like it or not, the Wii isn't capable of producing realistic graphics, at least until this thing is ready: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-ATtrImCx4

And since when is an open ending "piss-poor"? It's supposed to make you think for yourself a bit, try it.

Anyone would make one if they were forced. It's hardly news that someone would do some work if their employer made them.

Donkey Kong platformers died when RARE left, in fact most of the entire Donkey Kong series sunk to the bottom of the dead video game sea.

Kirby on the other hand, something has to be up, I mean look how damn popular he is in Smash bros, that alone should be enough to have his own Wii game, or something, even Fire Emblem got an International Release because the characters were popular in Melee.

How can you say that you want to do something if it requires the ultimate negotiation?

"I won't do what I love unless I have no other chioce"? How does that make any sense?

Most sites are rating it 8.3 out of 10.

Its to bad rare stoped developing gc games, even on the wii.

Note this game was the fist i ever came across that "didn't" have that lading bar that is common in most games today.

If they go through with this, they should do the next game in the same way they did Starfox 64. No frustrating land battles *cough* assault *cough*. Or possibly a remake of either Starfox 1,2 or even 64.
