Heavenly Star makes cameo in No More Heroes

We've just gotten word that Genki Rockets' "Heavenly Star", a popular song from the Lumines series of games will be making a cameo appearance in Grasshopper Manufacture's No More Heroes.

According to Japanese gaming website Game Watch, a music video for Heavenly Star will be made available for viewing if your character manages to find the hidden VHS tape for it. There's no word on whether or not other videos will be made available in the game this way, but it's a nice surprise for gamers if they do manage to find a tape or two.

No More Heroes will be made available in Japan this coming December, while North America will be able to pick up this title some time next year. In the meantime, why not enjoy these screenshots we've managed to get for you.
