Zelda Cartridge hard driveThe tutorial commits some sort of crime by using a Classic Zelda Cartridge, but that's not the point of this exercise.  What IS the point, is showing you - step by step - how to use an old Nintendo Entertainment System game cartridge as a portable hard drive.  Imagine the look on all your friends' faces when you hook your Pro Am Racing cartridge up to a USB cable and start playing ROMs on it!

It's of course, all at your own discretion, so be careful if you try this one out.  But the results are pretty cool, and would definitely drive the other geeks in the computer labs crazy.

pretty lame

I thought the guy somehow rewired the actual cartridge hardware to make it a USB drive, not just stuff a HDD in there with a USB converter.
