Sega have revealed Wii remakes of two of their classic arcade games: Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns. Check out some details and an announcement trailer past the jump.

Sega have revealed Wii remakes for two of their classic arcade games: Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns. Both games will be available in the aptly named Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack.

The control schemes in both games have been refitted for use with the Wiimote and the Wii Zapper. Other new features are a Chain Combo System and the Unlockable Weapon Toggle which uses game ranking to unlock weapon extras like rapid fire and wide shot.

Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack will be out on Wii this fall. If you've never seen or heard of these games before, here's a helpful little trailer:

I remember playing those games back in the days @ the arcade. Twas some awesome Rail-Shooting ownage. Sega did some good rail shooters back then, but re-releasing it as arcade hits in an era where graphics takes precedence over everything else? not gonna bode well with many... unless the price is around 20 dollars for this.
