Guitar Van Halen promo disc ships out with Guitar Hero 5 |

The promotional copy of the Van Halen iteration of the franchise arrived along with the officially launched copies of Guitar Hero 5 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) from Activision. The Van Halen game has been pretty quiet, but now we can say that they were just probably gearing up for the storm it will bring.
Reportedly, it looks pretty similar to the Metallica iteration, and that it did not appear to feature track-transfer capabilities onto GH5. What you would want to know, am sure, what's in the song list. From what the list showed, there's gonna be Dance the Night Away, Eruption, Everybody Wants Some!!, Feel your Love Tonight, Hear About it , and Hang 'Em High, among many others.

ahem, sorry guy but you're hellaaaaa late on this one, i was seeing this back in august when i went on vacation. But i cant say that they advertised it pretty well, i didnt even know they were making a guitar hero 5 when i saw it in target. Looked like they only had the guitar bundles though, but regardless, very late news.
I really dislike David Lee Roth, always liked the shredding though..the euruption is the best song on the list since DLR is quiet :)
Harmonix would know how to pay tribute to a band properly, look at the job they did for the Beatles. Activision have no clue how to make a decent rhythm game anymore. Same crap, different package basically.
Mhm, Activision is just shipping all this Guitar Hero crap out every 5 minutes.
