DJ Hero - Image 1Kweko-kwekk-ekeke-woooek. Excuse me for trying to phonetically spell out the sound records make on a DJ's turntable when scratched (and so utterly fail at it, thank you very much), but hey! I'll eventually get it, given practice. See, that fabled "DJ Hero" title that Activision's supposedly mixing up is now looking more and more set in stone as a new piece of the puzzle is set.

Last month, we heard from an anonymous source of MTV News that Activision was working on the turntable rhythm game. Today, we hear it straight from the project director of Guitar Hero: World Tour.

In an interview with Joystiq, Brian Bright was asked what he and his team were doing. In the process of answering this question, he let slip what the other people in Activision were up to:

Activision's doing a DJ Hero game, and I can't comment on what we're doing. But... we're working on the future and next gen. If I wasn't excited about it I wouldn't be there.

Whoops. Kweko-kwekk-ekeke-kwoooek. He said what?

» already done...

When I was in South Korea, they already had a DJ game like rock band/guitar hero. They also had a game with 4 giant bubbles you hit in time with fast techno :-/ (which is essentially what every single one of these games is, sans the techno :-O )

This was about 4 years ago, too....

If they follow thru with this and make it, it will probably fail miserably.
