Metallica - Image 1Guitar Hero fans, rejoice! In a few months' time, you'll get to play some real Guitar Heroes on your favorite platforms care of Activision. Yep, Kirk Hammett and the rest of the band are coming to your consoles as Guitar Hero Metallica gets a release date for North America, while other regions will follow later.

For North America, Guitar Hero: Metallica hits stores on March 29th for the PS3 and Xbox 360. For other regions, it's gonna be early May, though no specific date has been given. The Wii and PS2 versions will follow later in Spring, which is very likely to be in May as well.

Guitar Hero: Metallica allows you to play as the band in either single instrument or band career modes. You get to pick some of the famous settings or new venues to rock out in. They've got 28 Metallica songs in the game as well as music from the band's faves such as, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Slayer, Machine Head, and Queen.

I've always wanted to give Fuel, Unforgiven 2, and Enter Sandman a go. So it's gonna be March, huh? Should be fun.

3 words, Machine F'n Head!!!!!!

I'm stoked, I liked playing Aesthetics of Hate on RB, but I've always complained about all those rhythm games, because I have to play some gay emo crap to play the stuff I want, I don't like doing vocal tours because of this. however, Machine Head =-o!! next time throw in some Vio-Lence or Amon Amarth..maybe some Opeth?
