Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock from Activision - Image 1

It took a while, but Activision has finally given word that they are working on a fix for the mono audio output problem for the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. For now, they don't have a definite release date for the fix but they plan to have it available early next year.

Once the fix is available, Activision says that they will be offering digitally re-mastered discs as replacements for free. Until then you might want to hang on to those receipts in case they'd need a proof of purchase.

» about time

They just don't care about the Wii version.

Come on, they never realized the sound was mono? It will probably never get surround sound, even with the Wii's pathetic PS1 era capabilities.

It was just a half assed PS2 port, as are most Wii games.

» for now, yes, but

Nobody is buying Wii games, so what does that tell you?

The Wii is nearly useless, except for minigames, and those are for people that don't play games.

PS3 still outselling Wii in Japan, bioch.
