Guitar Hero 3 coming to the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 this Fall |

We all knew it was coming. It was just a question of when. Well, RedOctane's support center has finally given guitar freaks a date to look forward to by including the following information regarding Guitar Hero 3 on its Knowledgebase:
Guitar Hero 3 for the Playstation 2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii are
currently scheduled for release in the United States in Fall of 2007.
Yes, Wii owners will reportedly be getting their own version of the popular rhythm game and not just a port of Guitar Hero 2. Of course, the Guitar Hero franchise has been rumored to be released on the Wii for a long time now. Details are still scarce at this point, but we'll be sure to bring you more information as they surface.

This game will be fun to play on both systems. At least I hope.
Harmonix has sold out. Gone are the golden days of FreQuency and Amplitude.

I told QJ about this like 2 weeks ago, I saw it at Gamespot or Gaestop, i know it was one of them
I just bought GH2 for the 360 and I bought the extra guitar. Oh well... I guess Ill just have to sell one, unless... they make GH3 for 4 players. Hmm... the possibilities.
The title says PS3 but the quote says PS2...which one? both?
The is always the ability to buy the game and not a guitar too.
From what I see on other sites its for PS2 not PS3.
How have they sold out? They aren't even developing GH3, in fact Rockband is more like Frequency/Amplitude coming to life (but of course with instrument-like peripherals rather than a DualShock Controller)
They better have some 'tallica in this one!
Let me take a guess the Wii version and the PS3 version are going to have wireless guitars but the XBOX360 is going to be wired or maybe M$ will finally give up their top secret wireless technology and they will finally come up with a wireless guitar.
do you realize how expensive this game is? why on earth would you want to buy it twice?
i dont get how the wii controls will work. will they bring out a completely different controller attachment or what?
maybe it will be a guitar that plugs into the wiimote as an extension, kind of like the nun-chuck. i dunno
