AcidMods does some great Wiimote mods, but this one has my vote. In a bid to give the Wiimote and the nunchuk a more fuzzy, natural feel to replace the cold, white plastic, modder DHRECK made an exterior made entirely of hemp. Hemp cordage, I mean. Oh, you.
I like it. It's like Tarzan poached a sackboy and made a Wiimote out of it.
Just looking at it, you can guess at the dedication that was put into its making. Absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, also mostly useless. Because the hemp is sensitive to sweat, stress, and the like, and seeing as how (quote from the modder) "wearing latex gloves while playing would make the whole endeavour rather retarded," the Hemp-mote is just one very groovy ornament. Don't get the wrong idea though - it's fully playable. Just... not.
The modder will be posting a tutorial on how to make your own Hemp-mote, so you can check out his blog for that. He says he'll also be creating new Wii mods in the future, so hopefully we'll see more offbeat creations soon.

Yes, a lot of things DO use hemp, but that doesnt mean we cant have fun joking and speculating about its design process.

It's on the bottom you know nothing jackass. You can see the port cover on EVERY SINGLE PICTURE I've ever seen on the intrawebs.
Also, your precious WIKI tells you there's a port as well.
