That would certainly give new meaning to the term "Red Ring of Death". ;-) ......Actually, it's funny how Sony's given the 'bad rap' again in the article above. They are the BEST performer of the three console manufacturers when it comes to toxic chemicals, but you have to read carefully through the whole thing to get that out of it. And, I certainly don't blame them for telling Greenpeace, "No dice" for now. If you were just graded 5.5 about 4 months ago, and then they now make the regulations stricter (so that you fall a point with the same hardware), and then you're asked, "What are you gonna' do about it?" ..... Well, I think anyone would probably say, "Shove it." ---And QJ: what in the world does Apple have to do with this article? You might as well include Toshiba, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, etc. Last I checked, Apple doesn't make a game console.
