Go Fish! - Twilight Princess Video

Papa Smurf back in the hizzy tellin' you to put away that marijuana, because above is a video that will blow your freakin' mind, man! In it, an anonymous player experiments with the fishing feature in Twilight Princess for the Wii.

It is a perfect demonstration of the motion-sensitive aspects. The Wiimote is flung to cast and get this: You SPIN the nunchuck to reel in the fishing rod. Maybe some of you stoners already knew that, but Papa Smurf sure didn't. All these features add up to create a fishing experience that greatly improves on the N64 counterpart.

I can't wait to get some bass from somewhere besides Club Pot. Papa Smurf just hooked you up!

Obvious delay witht he motion sensing...

That's scary...

That will feel very disjointed.

The graphics are amazing. Game looks amazing and I can't wait for the release! Fishing in Zelda looks really fun. And whats best is we get to see actual gameplay.

#1 If you think about the physics of fishing you would come to understand that it is easier and faster to whip a light controller than it is to cast a fishing pole. If the pole cast too fast it would snap the thing in two. So if you think about it, the delay is warrented, to keep it more realistic.

I saw no delay

What's really cool is that they got the fishing term, "fish on!" right. Very cool!!!

I only noticed a few small delays the second time. Let's hope they fix it within the next few months. I could care less about the graphics, but they do look improved. All the boredom and sights of real fishing with next-gen controls!

Yeah, the delay i noticed was in the reeling motion. Bothered me a lot to watch. I had to just tell myself that they'd fix it before i own it. I hope i'm right.

# Dreamcast anyone?Knutselmaaster 2006-05-29 08:21
Seen that, been there.

I'm really impressed by the wii.

But to call this feature original.......This is a 6 year old idea of sega, i've been the pridefull owner of sega bassfihing with rod (and i could even play soul calibur with the freekin thing)

I still don't understand why the dreamcast flopped.

Maybe it was just too much ahead of its time.
