what i dont get is how ea, the game company that is infamous for no inovation and a vicious pursuer of your money, can say that one of the biggest franchises out there is doing something that isn't as good as theirs.

FF games are unrealistic... In the way that it brings a whole new world to the audience.. But they still look great... Who wants another "Realistic" piece of crap from EA anyways?



Is this when we diss EA for games like the ones he mentioned to be too realistic and no fun? - or do we mention Burnout and say its not realistic and the cars run like rubbish? - or do we go onto say that all EA racing games now are rubbish cos they all feature Catch-up which isnt realistic motion?

Although they went one step ahead!!! They show off .. Unrealistic gameplay, when they used to show the trailers of the Canyon races, the tires were to the ground as hot butter was to a glass shape, slide away! But can you actually do that in canyon races? I do NOT think so. The cars actually stick to the ground as much as their tires' grip allows to.



So here's some advice for you EA... These games, might have unrealistic graphics, according to REAL Life objects, which just makes them even MORE original. BUT They do comply to what they promise on early screenshots and don't cut the work later on... as in... they're realistic in terms of objectives and showing off. ;)



Just a tip before EA goes around criticising every game without any ideas of what the hell they're talking about.

Please find better posters. The quote above clearly shows that he acknowledges FF as having GREAT graphics. He is only talking about motion not being AS GREAT.

None of the above posters (or at least the competent ones) have argued against the importance of fluid motion in videogames. So don't get all high and mighty douche on them. However as many of them have said EA's games are for the most part based on real life activities, whereas sqare|enix has to contend with making a Fantasy word seem somewhat realistic while including fictional beings and physics into their games. So until s|e gets full life dragons/fairies/ogres/moogles etc. into their studio and riged for mo-cap they will always be at a disadvantage. (and have overcome these challenges quite well imo)

EA is a band of jerks, who don't know how to produce good games anymore. Sorry but the annual releasos of their FIFA, NHL, NBA combined with mainstream titles licensed from movies, comics etc. are crap. Where are any innovative and original titles? There were some, which were produced by non-EA studios published by EA, which naturaly didn't have the hype by EA, but they did better than the EA titles. (Burnout 3).

you guys do realise that alot of people at EA that work on the games and spend alot of time making them aren't all high-rolling, "destroy the competition and bad mouth rival companies' products" kind of people. EA may be being controlled by a bunch of money-mongering poobums but some of the games made by them are still really awesome. and yeah that guy does need the evil drove out of him. and a makeover.

EA has no room to critisize the work of Square Enix when they can't even get thier garbage software to run correctly, its been two weeks sense the release of thier latest NFS title and they still havent released a patch yet they have hundreds of fans complaining of bugs and crashes not to mention poor online play, where as Square Enix has had no issues of the such.

Don't ever play FF8 it's terrible. I've played every final fantasy. (11 isn't one) and 8 shouldn't even bear the name.

This guys messed up. No offense to Tiger Woods I think hes a cool golfer but I don't think his opinion means *****. I think he plays golf to much to have a real oppinion on grapics with games. FF has always been on the leading edge when it comes to realism with charaters. EA on the other hand has never to me been able to kick out a decent enough game with good REALISTIC grapics. They are not that great of a game company.

Let the carnage begin indeed...I haven't bouht an EA game since the supernintendo days and plan on continuing to boycott EA (its not really a boycott when ALL their games suck(i dont like sports games)) and for a guy that worked at dreamworks he should know that great looking and moving characters is worth nothing if you dont have great gameplay and a good story to back it up
