Giant Miis: Wii gaming on a theater screen |
Ó
Best of all, he put up a little how-to for people who want to use the sensor bar hack he adapted from Doctabu. With the hack costing less than 20 dollars, it's a good excuse to make friends with movie ushers just for the shot at playing Wii Tennis on a giant screen. Just remember, you'll need some engineering know-how, really good social skills (to get approval from theater managers), and possibly a job at a movie theater if you want to pull something like this off. Enjoy the video!

The mii is bigger than the person himself.
Seriously cool.
Though it'd be kinda weird to see a Mii with a head bigger than our bodies.
one of my craziest idea, this is one of my dream/wish when i was a child, i imagine myself playing street fighter 2 on the cinema. now some did it with a wii, which is crazier than mine. i already have a High Resolution projector and PC/PS3, now if only i can find a wall big enough!
A fighting game = Awesome
An FPS = Awesome
Just about any game = Awesome
But why would you play Wii Sports in a big old cinema? With that much room it'd be close enough to playing Tennis as actually playing Tennis. I'd have played Zelda or something. THAT would've been fantastic.
Maybe because Wii Sports is a multiplayer game?
