If you're hankering for more Sega emulation for your Nintendo Wii, then homebrew developer lopst has your fix. Introducing his own take on the Sega Mega Drive emulator, GenPlus. Not to be confused with the Genesis Plus Project, this one sports a unique feature that sets it apart from the original: the fact that it provides support for two Wiimotes, as well as the Classic Controller. Now is that awesome, or is that awesome?
Seeing as this is the first release of GenPlus, let's take a look at the controls.
When using the Wiimote, the 1 button acts as B, 2 button as C, and the B trigger acts as A. The Plus and Minus buttons stand in for the Start and Mode buttons respectively, and Home brings you back to the emulator's menu.
In the case of the Classic Controller, X acts as A, B as B (duh), A as C, L as X, R as Z. Plus and Minus reprise their award-winning roles as the Start and Mode buttons, and once again, Home will send you screaming into GenPlus' menu system.
Little bit of a note here from homebrew developer lopst: it seems that whenever you open files via the Front SD card, the controllers will desynchronize. This is only for the first time, and you will only need to re-sync once. In any case, enjoy this homebrew, and be sure to keep yourself informed of homebrew usage and installation before using this.
