GDC: Flow could have been on Wii! |
Ó
According to GDC reports and Joystiq, flOw could have very well been on Wii. During an informative Q&A session at the GDC with Kellee Santiago, That Game Company's president, she noted that the history of the game, just like the its single-celled protagonist, could have evolved in two ways: as a Playstation game, or as a Wii one.Santiago admits that it "was the hardest decision we ever had to make, choosing between Sony and Nintendo." Later on, she clarifies her statement, saying, "they weren't right for us at the time. Sony kind of came to us with the process of incubation ... They helped us get our studio started."
At the same time, there would always be a chance for them to work with the Wii, it seems. Jenova Chen, one of the game's creators, also noted that they wouldn't mind working with Nintendo at a later date. In essence, collaboration with both companies would not be entirely out of the question, which is definitely a good thing, considering just how far flOw has come from its early beginnings as a flash game and thesis.

Noone cares about this useless game.
Sony can have it.
Thats just what u think.
Flow is a great game and very soothing and thats what it was meant to be.
It proves that the SIXAXIS is every bit a motion sensing controller as the Wii-mote.
The only advantage the wii mote has is an add-on that senses where its pointing based on location of the sensor bar.
they only want first party support, too make money. just imagine if it was a nintendo game, u would all be geez this awesome game, haha. karma ps3 has it now, i say good day. nintendo games are boring same old stuff. what is it mario party 64 or 900 clones games. look it mario it probably is good game, money eater. mario hoops, soccer, warioware, getting old and redundant. maybe you guys want playstation home which is access denied. i heard now there will be psp home in the works. ds can't play mp3 or intenet. ds games voices suck beep beep tee tee wa wa aah ahh.
"That was when Kojima decided to create a true sequel to Metal Gear. After being given the go-ahead by his bosses at Konami, he began developing Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake with the MSX division of Konami."
a flash game????
ne one kno where to find it?
In 1080p!?!
Yes, he's right, the only advantage it has is that it brings an aiming and mouse functioning capability into the living room bringing the PC into a more relaxing evironment.
Wow, that's practically nothing at all
The DS can play MP3s and have internet access...I know it's using a third party device, but that is no more of a hack than putting homebrew on your PSP, pretty much the only thing I ever did with mine before selling it.
