GameTab: Sonic and the Secret Rings to come out February |

Well, we're not exactly quite sure, but GameTab has a fix on the release date of Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Wii console. The game is supposedly announced by Sega to be released by February 20, although Sega's site still marks it an indefinite first quarter of 2007. Here's to hoping...Sonic and the Secret Rings puts Sonic into the world of Arabian Nights. The new game boasts a livelier world, with surreal water effects and lifelike physics. It's also going to introduce a new gameplay experience to Sonic fans around the world with the Wiimote. You can mimic the energy and power of Sonic, by a simple tilting of the controller and a press of a button. You can even perform combination moves with flicks of the wrist! It will also sport multiplayer support for four people.

- Exotic settings and creatures inspired by the Arabian Nights tales
- Branching paths for extensive gameplay variety and replayability
