GameStop offers DJ Hero: Renegade Edition at 200 a pop |
Ó
Retailer GameStop is offering quite a deal for Activision's DJ Hero: Renegade Edition (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii). It's definitely pricier than the original tag of US$ 199.99, but rest assured this edition will definitely be worth it for those who are in the serious business of playing DJ.The said edition is being offered at GameStop for US$ 199.99. So what's in the package that would merit the said increase in price? Apart from the label of Activision, I mean. Well, you'll get the high quality turntable peripherals, collapsible stands, and exclusive 2-CD pack featuring unreleased tracks from Jay-Z and Eminem. There's also a collectible case designed by artist Shepard Fairey.
Sounds hardcore. Pre-order now and get it on October 27, so said the pitch. You getting?

I could never even imagine paying as much for one game as I could for a console
At $199.99 it's pricier than the original tag of $199.99? Confused
you can buy a turntable for that much....
you can buy Virtual DJ.
Regular edition price is $119.99.
WOW thats crazy $200 for that s#h!t i listen to rap once in a while but damn that is f#uck!ng alot of money. but the s#h!t will sell cuz you got alot of ppl that listen to that s#h!t i know alot of blacks and spanish ppl will buy it the same way they buy there jordan sneakers expensive b4 anyone say anything about racist im % of both.
Funny, I never see spanish people or know Spanish people in NY. Let alone know that they rock Jordan's like that in Spain. I'm PR in NY so I know hispanics rock Jordans. Doesn't matter if your both, racist ass! LOL Half black and hispanic and you listen to rap once in a while my ass! LOL BTW, this game won't sell well to a minority demographic because minorities are not big on music games. DDR, GH, RB and the like do not fare well in urban communities. Don't believe me? See how many people in the projects are playing DDR or karaoke games. Better yet, JADAKISS, Rock the Mic! LOL
Plenty of people paid $170-200 or more for RB or GHWT. And, although it's multiple "instrument controllers", it's still only ONE GAME. ..Personally, after just going to the GameStop site to review the promo videos, I'm getting more and more interested in DJ Hero. It would have been nice if the "Renegade Edition" included TWO turntables (for competition), but still -- the convertible case with the leg stands is kinda' cool.
Im from bronx,NY alot of my friends are into musical games most are hooked on guitar hero as well. Its cool its just the price's they put on these game especially urban type game's.I stop buying jordan's long time ago becuz of the ridiculous price tag.
@Daistaar You do know NYC is now flooded with immigrants mostly from mexico and south america right? You barely see any 'natives' anymore. All is black and hispanics. In New York, the minority is the majority.
