Gamestop now accepting pre-orders for Nintendo's Wheel - Image 1Here's a bit of good news, at least if you're willing to shell out some extra cash for Mario Kart Wii for your buddies' sake. Online retailer Gamestop has recently announced that it will now accept pre-orders for the Wii Wheel controller, currently on sale for  US$14.99.

The Wheel is expected to ship on the same day as Mario Kart's North America release, so with a bit of luck, you'll have it available when you start playing.

While the game bundle already includes a Wii Wheel, this update should come in handy for your friends, family, and whomever you'll be playing alongside. The accessory should also work on other previous racing titles such as Excite Truck.

We remind the viewers that Mario Kart Wii is currently scheduled to hit the U.S. by April 27. The game provides for up to four different controller setups, so you don't have to use the wheel if it doesn't match your play style. Still, the option's always there. Drop by again in case we receive info on any other retailer providing for pre-orders.

» $15 for that? lol!

That's a huge ripoff! More proof Nintendo can sell ANYTHING for any price!

Be sure to pre order, because you know Nintendo is going to fake a shortage of the wii wheel too!

» m sense

your a ripoff of human life.

» WHAT?!?!

15 dollars sounds fine! My god man you just want to find ANYTHING to bash nintendo with dont you what the hell is wrong with you?!?!?

by ISOHaven - 2008-03-31 05:31
» WTF!?!?!?!?!

There's nothing wrong at all with $15. He just wants everything in life to be free.

The Intec wheel is $10 but it's not much of a "wheel" and feels VERY cheep. This one looks more solid so I'd say it's probably worth the extra $5. Well see.

However, I don't see how this will work with Excite Truck as it has forward and backward tilt controls. Not sure if those can be switched to buttons or what-not.

by Mister Common Sense - 2008-03-31 07:23
» well

I'm just saying $15 is pretty expensive for a piece of plastic that cost $0.25 to make.

Then again I figured you'd think it was a good deal.

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

"for a piece of plastic that cost $0.25 to make."

It's easy to see why you fail in life when you think such obviously wrong things about how life works.

To put this product on the shelf it would cost more then 25 cents just in SHIPPING.

THINK THINK THINK before you post!

by Mister Common Sense - 2008-03-31 09:21
» it's a great deal, really

$0.25 to make, another $0.25 for shipping, maybe $3-$4 store commision, only $9 profit left for Nintendo.

Yeah you're right, they're practically giving these away! LOL

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

Wrong again numbskull....but at least you're willing to accept new information...that's a first!!!

by Dustball - 2008-03-31 15:19
» You guys are pathetic

You're too busy trying to argue with Mister Common Sense in every comment he makes to realize that $15 for a piece of plastic shaped like a wheel isn't overpriced? If you're so keen, then go ahead and pay $50 for 3 extra plastic shells. Who cares if MCS consistently makes comments which make you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to reply to every single one of them.

» LOLZ 4 RLZ

Damn Nintendo for their blatant mastery of capitalism! How dare they rip off the public by understanding market value!

God forbid Nintendo put out a product and let consumers decide if they want to buy it or not. Mr Too Much Free Time apparently hates free markets or America in general. F* cking terrorist!

by ISOHaven - 2008-04-01 04:16
» WTF!?!?!?!?!

Hey Dustball, if you don't like it then STFU and quit reading our comments. Damn cry baby....

Hey Mister Commune Ist, that was HILARIOUS!!!! I couldn't agree more, God forbid people are given choice....What the hell is America coming to when people have CHOICE? HAHAHA!!!!!!!!! !

by The Obsidian - 2008-04-01 05:06

» WTF!?!?!?!?!

Hey Dustball, its called having fun. So either join in or quit crying.

The same always applies, don't like it, quit reading it. Myself and other will ALWAYS point out his garbage. End of story.

by Dustball - 2008-04-02 14:05
» Ok!

If that's your idea of "fun" then who I am to tell you to stop?!

And demondirk, if I'm a troll for stating the obvious then so be it. It's pretty bold of you to call someone else a fanboy though. Try taking a look at yourself before making a comment like that because you seem to be very emotionally attached to Nintendo and the Wii. Call me a fanboy for making valid points, but the truth is I OWN a Wii. I simply choose not to see points from a single perspective, which is why I own other consoles as well.

by demondirk - 2008-04-03 12:34
» hey dustieballs

i wasn't calling you a fanboy

that was directed to m sense

i own "ALL THREE SYSTEMS" and they are "Equally Great"

if someone put down the other systems as much as m sense does the wii

i would be there defending them also

like i said they are "Equally Great"

you might want to rethink your previous statement
