Darn it! Not another "wii release" rumor. (*Sigh*) We're starting to think that maybe Nintendo could be the ones spreading these rumors as a big ruse to confuse all of us. Maybe they're deliberately trying to make the Wii release date so utterly not confirmed, just so that the gaming community would be caught off guard by a sudden release!And while the big Sept 14/15 Wii-Day hasn't happened yet, everything is still working up in the rumor mill, and we've nothing else to do but wait for some news. So while that's not here yet, this is an interesting rumor, though. MisterInvisible from the Go Nintendo forums has managed to get a hold of someone else's receipt of an FYE Wii Reservation. And what does it say on the top? Click pic to enlarge.

Too bad the picture quality isn't that great. But what exactly does the "07" part mean? Some people have been speculating that it's proof that the store still believes that the Wii will be released in 07. Or maybe not. What if the "07" is just a stub number given to the customer as a ticketing system to claim the console once it's out?
Whatever info this lowly receipt has to offer, we don't know. And we're definitely not writing anything on stone (just yet). And my, how we all wish that September 14/15 would be here already so we can finally stop all the rumor-mongering and actually see some official announcements.
