Looks
like there could possibly be more smashed TVs in the future, and it's
going to be all for the sake of love. Yes, that's right. Furu Furu Park's
over 30 minigames look like they're easy to get into with so much
enthusiasm to send your Wiimotes flying around the room. But why the
love? The main gameplay mode of Furu Furu will have you play as a junior high school student whose hero is Sonic Blastman (ooh, retro arcade love!) and is learning how to impress a girl. Here's where Taito's old games come in. The classic games will be resurrected on the Wii and in order to gain some wooing points to earn the love of your life, you've got to succeed in the minigames.
Here are descriptions of five of those minigames:
- Kiki Kaikai - Famicom/MSX game revival where players hold the Wiimote like a gamepad to play
- Escape! Submarine – Underwater racing game where you shake the Wii remote to propel your sub
- Super Karate – Just copy the movements on screen with the controller and you're on your way to becoming a dojo master
- Sonic Blastman 20XX – the classic Taito beat-'em-up punch-'em-'out arcade game is back and will have you punching meteors back into orbit in outer space
- Birdman – use the controller like a steering wheel as you guide your man-powered propeller-craft
