We all know the Wii's popular, but this may be taking it a bit too far. According to the Japanese entertainment magazine BARKS, some rumors have been circulating that the Wii emits a sound frequency that attracts cockroaches.

This is just a rumor though - but then maybe cockroaches just want to have fun. There's also a chance that the rumor was sparked by Chinese Wiip-off, the Vii, instead of the Wii. Look at it this way: if the rumor is true, you can play Pied Piper with your Wiimote and rid your house of roaches.

If you work in a domain where you can actually put this argument to start research to validate this information, you might be able to get a nice subvention to buy all 3 current consoles.
