While we've only seen a couple stuff that only concern the modding of LED lights, here's a full Wii case mod that's radiating some Triforce glory. Spotted on eBay, Jimmy Bean (thanks, man!) tipped us off about this hand-crafted Zelda Wii mod.

The console itself is airbrushed and finished with, as eBay seller freakf-ingtastik puts it, "a special 'hammered' black texture to really set off the medieval theme (something like a stone wall in castle)." The mod even comes with Master Replica's special edition metal diecast 1/8 replica of both the Master Sword (removable) and Shield.

Of course, it also has some modded LED lights: the original blue of the disc tray was replaced with white, and four other LEDs were added to backlight the sword and shield. Although these are in an "always on mode," the voltage has been tweaked for it to be not too consuming of power, nor to dim too be lit.

Right now, the auction is up for US$ 330. Whoever gets the highest bid, a portion of those proceeds will be donated to Penny Arcade's "Child's Play" charity.

» no way

first time i checked it was 700 bucks and now after an hour it is 970 bucks. there still 8 days till the auction is off and so i wonder how much is this wii going to cost at the end. i can afford it without a problem but i hope it don't go more than 2000 or i might have to consider not to even consider buying it.
