First Wii Homebrew Channel video demo

Team Twiizers has done a lot for the Wii homebrew scene in so short a time that anyone can get lost in the latest developments. Still, the team is not resting on its laurels yet. After blazing trails with Twilight Hack, Team Twiizers is supposedly rocking the Wii homebrew front again with a video demo of the first Wii Homebrew Channel.

The Wii Homebrew Channel appears like a second Mii channel icon at the bottom of the Wii menu. This Mii channel duplicate can run homebrew applications when pressed. But before anything else, the Twilight Hack must first be installed and rebooted unto the Wii's system memory. Getting a bit technical? Check the video below yourself for a step-by-step walkthrough.

No public release for the Wii Homebrew Channel has been announced yet. But it will be very interesting to see how Wii homebrew matches up with Nintendo's own WiiWare so do keep coming back here at QJ.NET for the latest updates.

Thanks TrashWolf for the timely tip.

bushing, tmbinc, segar(sp) you guys are the man(men?) you have opened up the wii so much, and im sure that with this it can open up homebrew on wii, with the best interface ever for any homebrew on any console, as there doesnt need to be a gui rote, wii has a really nice one, if you read this, can you try unlock the wii region for gamecube? or wii and gamecube? i dont care about ISO loaders, memcards aint big enough anyway, i just want ot be able to play my american gamecube games on my wii. i think you could do it, seeing as you have." bettered" the wii on a whole, and as you said(i think is was bushing) more wii's will be sold because of homebrew.

» Yeah I have heard

ok, so is the modchip the problem with the hack or what,? I don't get it. anyway, I'm using modding as a last resort, as not ALL imported games will work on a pal console, :-(. if you need help with the twilight hack there's an install tutorial on my youtube videos you can use, just click on the video above, then click on my name and it's the big video at the top of my page. hope that helps.

Definitely look at modchips as a last resort. Homebrew takes time to develop/perfect and in time there will be a region free fix.
