Here are a couple of new Famitsu magazine scans for the upcoming Nintendo Wii video game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Young King and the Promised Land. Square Enix has yet to name a concrete release date for the title.

Anyway, much like its long title implies, this particular entry in the wide and long Final Fantasy franchise will revolve around the story of a boy who has been tasked to transform a small sleepy town into a grand kingdom.

Unlike its GameCube predecessor, The Young King and the Promised Land will be more of a single-player game with the multiplayer mode only being utilized for crafting magical items. These items are necessary for the transformation of the town.
