gamestopThe Japanese have had their copies for a while now, but Wii owners in the US who've been dying of envy won't have to wait until the official December 26 launch to get one. GameStop has broken the street date for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.

 

Perhaps in yet another move to protect themselves from the street-breaking mom-and-pop stores, GameStop releases yet another game early. This game is no Modern Warfare 2 (which the retailer also sold early), but it's still a Wiixclusive Final Fantasy, and despite underwhelming sales in Japan, should still have a sizable market abroad.

There was not and never will be a street date for this game, and all Gamestops were told to release this game whenever they received it in their shipment. Nothing has been broken, get your facts straight. Not trying to sound like an a-hole, sorry.

I'm glad they are doing this. They are too big to mess with. What are the game companies going to do? Sue them? And risk losing sales with them? HA!!! Yeah right!!! That would be the company I work for trying to sue Wal-Mart because of some issue with our product. Not going to happen, EVER!!!
