Fatal Fury - Image 1Fans of old-school NeoGeo fighting games are now in for a treat, with three classic titles hitting the Wii's Virtual Console as announced sometime last month. Starting today on 9am Pacific Standard time, the well-renowned Fatal Fury, World Heroes and Art of Fighting will be available for purchase.

As most fighting game enthusiasts already know, SNK's (now known as SNK Playmore) Fatal Fury introduced the legendary Bogard brothers, Terry and Andy. Art of Fighting spawned Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia, two of the hard-hitting characters in the King of Fighters series. Lastly, World Heroes is a novelty fighting title, which features some of SNK's takes on historical figures such as Hanzo, Janne (more likely derived from Jeanne d'Arc), and even Rasputin.

These games each cost 900 Wii Points (available thru the Wii Shop or retail outlets). If you consider yourself a connoisseur of arcade fighting titles, don't hesitate to nab any of these games!

I read something in the news about NeoGeo not working in HD and people having to use cables to play these... anybody find this to be true?
