Faster, higher, stronger: World Sports Competition gameplay

In this week's virtual console update, we talked about the Olympic wonder that is World Sports Competition for the TurboGrafx 16. In it, you can compete in a variety of sports competitions as they were played back in the good old days (of video gaming): with timed button presses and rapid taps.

Needless to say, that part of the gameplay is definitely intact, as GameTrailers gives us another glimpse at World Sports Competition's gameplay. From shooting, archery, hurdles, and even the good old hammer throw, there's something for everyone, and it's all there on the vid.

Personally though, we prefer the discus. Flying circular death is always for the win over at QJ. Enjoy the gameplay video!
