Far Cry: Vengeance Coming To The Wii |
Finally we have a "Coming To The Wii" rumor that turns out to be true - we're talking about a Wii version of Far Cry, which had been spotted at retailer listings earlier. While there hasn't been an official announcement yet, some screens are already out there. It looks like the game will be going after the name of Far Cry Vengeance and according to the source, it will be an improved version of Far Cry Instincts Evolution. Obviously, it won't be able to compete graphically with the Xbox 360 versions, but if Ubisoft's committed enough - and they seem to be - they will obviously take good advantage of the Wii's control options.
It is reported the game will head to stores in November - and that's all we can tell you about it for the moment. Expect some sort of press release to appear in the next few days, along with more details.

This game looks amazing on the Wii.
Good times I think I might get this game
Graphics look horrible. How can you say this looks good. Looks worse than the first one on the original xbox.
yes, the graphics do look good, for a wii game.. which is sad because as a 360 game it looked like *****.
For one. We can't say if these pics are a good representation of the actual game. They are priliminary and could have been reproduced in poor quality.
And secondly. Other than some blending of the edges of the polys I don't see anything wrong. Most people who play FPS's on comps have very similar graphics levels. And these are on comps that are not cheap.
And i could give a sh*t about having better graphics as long as I get some smooth gameplay. Nothing worse in a FPS than a bunch of chop that makes is hard to play. Most notably in outside environments.

Graphics look decent.
He probably didn't even look at them. He just jumped on the Wii forum and decided he wanted to bring up graphics because he thinks that becuase it's coming to a nintendo product it's going to suck. Well we're not intrested in your rather bias opinons
Seriously, in fact it has worse draw distances (probably going to be fixed) than the Xbox version.
