Looking at the video, however, it seems that Uwe's gotten the atmosphere and look of Far Cry just right, with a lot of the scenes taking place in an island-like environment as well as a sterile laboratory-ish compound. The actors play their roles and say their lines with conviction, and it's hard not to be impressed at the effort given in the gunplay and explosion sequences.
They even recreated the scene where Jack Carver's boat gets blown up, although it's a bit different on how it actually happened in-game.

uh.. pretty gay in my opinion (listen to the sound effects when their like kicking and punching). I think great games should stay games and great movies should stay movies. Even though I wonder how Metal gear would turn out as a movie..? ehh I'd rather not know and just play the game.

This movie is going to suck. Uwe Boll can't make a good movie if his life depended on it! He murdered Blood Rayne. Has anyone heard about Uwe Boll getting the Halo move since Peter Jackson dropped out?
Should be made in CGI imo to keep that feel as of a game I should say. Man this movie won't even make it past the 1000k mark blah.
Well It really seems like one of those B movies. I've seen movies with Mark Hamill and Kung Fu aliens that looked like that.
I guess this guy wanted to blow up lots of boats, cars, helicopters... and wanted a way to make cash out of it.

I am a short films director in Australia and i have to say Uwe Boll is the most horrible big time director on the planet next to ofcourse our loving resident evil director. This guy just doesnt get it, you see he makes a completely different movie and wacks a video game title on it, he completely changes the story that made the video game successful but besides that he does make horrible films he is just a bad director... anybody and i say anybody that thinks his movies are good quality entertainment is truly an idiot..
Low budget, bad direction, bad special effects, bad acting, bad bad bad bad EVERYTHING. Oh my ****ing God.
Just like every Uwe Boll movie. B-list actors, cheap sets, sound effects from Kim Possible,and horrible fight scenes. Please stop.
