Although there's a rumor spreading about the release date of Nintendo's Mario Kart Wii, we know that it's going to come and go. As for real facts, we believe that they remain forever. And that's exactly what we have for you, the latest information regarding the racing game.

We were able to get juicy details on the game from Famitsu. These will surely whet your appetite for the game. So, without further ado, here they are:

  • Bikes in cup mode
  • Bikes have special actions like "wheelie"
  • Wi-fi 12 players
  • Play as Mii
  • 16 remake and new courses
For the 16 courses, half will be new and half will be old. The new tracks are the Luigi Circuit, the Moo Moo Country, the Mushroom Canyon, the Toad Factory, the Mario Circuit - Figure-8, the Coconuts Mall, the DK Snowboard Cross, and the Wario Mines.

As for the eight courses that will be making a comeback, they are the Peach Beach, the Yoshi Falls, the Ghost Swamp 2, the Mario Circuit, the Sherbert Land, the Hey Ho Beach, the Monty Town, and the Waluigi Stadium.
