Looking at the video, it's definitely clear that EA is pulling out all the stops in terms of making sure the characters have their own unique fighting style. And while we're not so sure kicking is allowed in a sanctioned boxing match, we have to say that uppercutting someone into the air and then reacting fast enough to deal them another crushing blow isn't allowed by physics either. But hey, it's awesome.
