Ennuii: the ultimate fate of the Wii? |
Ó
Now, there's a whole plethora of ways to play the Wii. You can do it the way that the Nintendo developers have envisioned that you would, or you can play it either like Gabe or Tycho in the strip above.
Then again, Rich and Mark think that all of those ways will come in phases until it all comes down to the inevitable, which is ennui (or Ennuii, as they call it). Anyway, their website reads "Two London advertising copywriters. One website. A modicum of spare time. It won't end well."
However, with this little video demonstration that they have just put out, one can't really say that it doesn't end well. In fact, it MAY actually end well, if only because of a few laughs that the video induces.
Viewers, enjoy! And Nintendo, beware the ides of March take heed!

...the fact that he got less enthusiastic after the 2nd or 3rd week, or the fact that he's playing a wii by himself.
How is the Wii any different from any other launch console?
You get the console, you're PUMPED about all the games with all the awesome features! You play them for a few weeks, get used to them, and settle back into normal gamer habits.
Why is anyone surprised?
(The PS3 is an exception... the 'pumped' period only lasted a few days for that one. Sad, sad launch lineup.)
