Eidos has recently acquired Phil Rogers to be their new corporate development boss. Before Eidos, Rogers was a three-year vice president of corporate development at EA. Apparently, he was picked up by Eidos to head up a major acquisition hunt. In an interview with MCV, the new Eidos honcho mentions that:ThereÂ’s a slew of great IP through Warner Brothers and in the Eidos business that this company can take advantage of by acquiring new talent...This group is looking for studio acquisitions to help it achieve what it wants to in a better or a bigger way.
