Ed Bradley: Mercury Meldown Revolution won't be just a Wii-make |
Ó
From Ed Bradley himself comes the confirmation that Mercury Meltdown Revolution is already done. So what's the reason behind the delay? He didn't really say. But what we do know, thanks to his interview with Siliconera, is the fact that the Wii version isn't simply going toy be a Wii-make.
According to Ignition Entertainment's UK manager, about 75 percent of the 150+ levels in Mercury Meltdown Revolution are new. That means that inasmuch as you'll find some classic stages you've grown to know from its PS2 version, there is still a whole new bunch of challenging levels for you to choose from.
You might also want to look forward to the bonus party games, as it should be one of the highlights of the game. Says Bradley, "We worked so hard on them we decided to make them easily accessible. The average player should have no difficulty accessing all of them and it won't take hours and hours of play to do so either."
When asked about the existing competition, Super Monkey Ball and Kororinpa, he reveals: "I found Monkey Ball personally disappointing as I'm a big fan of the franchise. I haven't played the other. Of course MMRev is the best though!"
So, with Mercury Meltdown Revolution just around the corner, you can very well expect Ignition Studios to create some more goodies for the Wii.
