Ed Boon demos how to FINISH HIM!!! in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

Trust us, not even a long and detailed interview with pictures beats an actual video demo. And when Midway Games thought of bringing Mortal Kombat: Armageddon to the Wii, gesture control became de rigeur in gameplay, someone has to show how to throw Scorpion's spear. Enter Ed Boon, this time not talking to Gamespot, but to you, via this MKA advert recently seen in YouTube. Now Boon, show us how to do it:



Er, we'll pass on Grandma tearing our hearts out, thank you. Now, for those who feel that not even motion-sensing beats the joystick, there's always the GameCube controller or the Classic Controller. And while turning the Wiimote into Scorpion's spear was definitely the first thing that must have jumped into everyone's thoughts when they heard of Mortal Kombat on the Wii, with a little extra passion, absent a tight grip on the Wiimote, and a dose of Wiidiocy, the TV might not appreciate it...

I thought the controls might be cheesy, but they look pretty sweet. I guess punching and kicking will be mapped to the A and B buttons then with holding down Z to do the high/low versions. Just my thoughts. And I love how they added the VC and GC control options. Gonna be sweet.

How many blog posts on this site are going to mention something, (oh, and don't forget the link!) having to do with throwing a wii-mote into a television and how my television won't appreciate it.



WE KNOW THE RISKS and the "horror" stories that accompany them and it's not even that great of a story, certainly not deserving of 5 links on this first page alone, considering that story comes from when? Launch, or the month following.



MOVE ON... and I do believe I will be going elsewhere for my wii-related news... This site has officially joined-up with the fly-by-night media... sad.
