"Sadly, it's been over 10 years since the last true Earthworm Jim game "the mediocre N64 title doesn't count). If you ask me, it's high time Shiny jacked out of the Matrix and unearthed their beloved worm." ~Steve T. (Nintendo Power Vol 201)

Two Month's later, it looks like the original Earthworm Jim team is getting together to create another game in the much-beloved franchise. They created a pact years ago before going their seperate ways, now they want to make good on the pact. Many of them have gained a lot of experience by creating their own companies and want to put it to the ultimate test by creating a follow-up to their most famous game. At the moment, Atari owns the rights to Earthworm Jim and is working on a PSP game. Dave Perry, formerly of Shiny Entertainment, is trying to get the rights to the worm so that the team can make a new title for the next-gen systems.
