EA: Australia gets Rock Band in November |
Ó

Australian gamers will finally be able to get Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PS2) almost a year full after it was released in the U.S. According to Electronic Arts, the game will hit Australia on November 7 for all of its supported platforms.
The hardware bundle that comes with the game software will cost AU$ 249.99 (US$ 208.23). The hardware-only bundle consisting of one guitar, microphone, and drum kit will go for AU$ 199.99 (US$ 166.47). Stand-alone drum kits and guitars will be available for AU$ 129.99 (US$ 108.30) and AU$ 89.99 (US$ 74.99) respectively.
Of course, this announcement begs the question of whether or not Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2) will share a similar fate. Come to think of it, why not just release Rock Band 2 outright in Australia instead of a year-old game?
I just hope those who do buy the game get something extra for waiting this long. I kinda doubt it, though. What do you think, guys? Share your thoughts.

personally, I think EA can jam all their games (past, current & future) right up their ass. I can't believe they think they can offload their year old rubbish onto us. I'll just stick to downloading their games!
I really am losing faith in the gaming industry
I truly hope they sell absolutely no copies of RB1 here in Australia. That'll teach them for making us wait a FULL FREAKING YEAR. USA is about to get RB2 and we haven't even got 1 yet for god's sake. I certainly won't be buying it. I'll be getting GH4 instead - which is launching here only a FEW WEEKS after the USA gets it, not 12 months. I urge all Aussies to do the same. DON'T BUY ROCK BAND. Send them a message for making us wait so long.
But they'll be able to buy Guitar Hero 4 instead, it had all the stuff from rock band 2 plus way more, like a place to create your own musics to play on and share it online. I'm not the kind to have the time to make new musics, but I'll surely download tons of them online from the community, and surely make one at least. Rock band 1 was different, but guitar hero 4 will be so more than rock band... way better
