The consumer leg of the now subdivided E3 has opened its registration to the general public, offering VIP access to many pre-registered entities including the media, retailers and analysts. IDG World Expo's E for All will be the second event of the two E3 events to happen this year.

Now we are unsure if privileges are extended towards the general public, but those who did not take advantage of the advanced registration discount will likely have to pass through general admissions while the event takes place in the Los Angeles Convention Center from October 18-21.

The event will feature tournaments and a job fair, together with a musical performance by the Video Games Live Concert. A "games as art"-themed contest, Into the Pixel 2007, will encourage all creative minds to give their ideas on advancing the development of games.
